Windows 10: I can't install some programs. Windows features shows ASP.NET 4.8, .NET Extensibility 4.8...

I get a wizard A, B, C every time I try to install some programs. Even after I reset the system 2 days ago May, 2, 2020

My system is up to date D, E

I have tried repair tools, they didn't work NET Framework Repair Tool didn't work
I tried sfc/scannow and everything is fine F

Registry it doesn't look like others.

Image G Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\OS Integration .....................Only shows v4.

Image H Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\OS Integration ...........Only shows v4.

In windows features on or off. If I check ASP.NET 4.8 or/and .NET Extensibility 4.8 then says changes were applied, I try to install the program, but if shows the wizard A again and the box became uncheck

Should I wait for a new Windows update?

Method 1:

For uninstalling a program, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Open run command by pressing
Windows key + R.

Step 2: Type
appwiz.cpl. You can see a list of programs installed in your PC.

Step 3: Click on the program you want to install. Uninstall option will get highlighted.

Step 4: Click Uninstall to uninstall the program.



Method 2:

To Turn Windows feature on/off, follow the steps below:

For uninstalling a program, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Open run command by pressing
Windows key + R.

Step 2: Type
appwiz.cpl. On the left side panel select Turn Windows feature on or off
option.

Step 3: In the appeared window, check the option
.net framework. It will now appear in the Programs and features
page

Step 4: Click on
.net framework and uninstall.

In regard to Microsoft .NET Framework 4 install problem

To assist you better, share the information.
1. How did you uninstall the Microsoft .NET Framework 4?
2. From where are you trying to download the Microsoft .NET Framework 4?

Meanwhile, I suggest you to follow the below steps.
1. Press Windows + X, and select programs and features.

2. In the Programs and Features window, click Turn Windows features on or off.

3. Under Windows Features dialog, uncheck .NET Framework 4 and click Ok
when if prompt confirmation.

4. Reboot your PC.

5. Once you reach desktop screen, reopen the Windows Features dialog, and this time
enable the .NET Framework 4 checkbox, and click Ok.

How to reinstall .NET Framework 4/4.6 on Windows 10?

The .NET framework is a Windows Feature (as of Windows 8 or even as far back as 7) found under "Programs and Features". I have had some good success with the following procedure:

1. Disabling the feature (.NET 4 and 3.5).
   
2. Reboot the computer.
   
3. Manually force a WindowsUpdate check to make sure everything is on the latest version.
   
4. Re-enable the feature(s) and then run WindowsUpdate again.
   

Last resort measure: Install one of the Visual Studio development environments (Express edition is good enough.) This also forces a refresh of .NET.

If that doesn't fix the problems nothing else will.

Because it is an integrated feature of Windows a really broken .NET environment is basically a broken Windows installation needing a re-install of Windows.
