Windows 10: I cant join multiplayer on xbox

I am trying to play minecraft with my friend but it says I cant join multiplayer because the way my account is set up so i went to the website and allowed multiplayer and submitted and i went back to minecraft and it still did not work. I uninstalled and reinstalled minecraft after i made sure that multiplayer was allowed and it still did not work.

Are you using parent or child account to make changes?



If you are using parent account, we would suggest you to check Communications & Multiplayer section and make sure that joining multiplayer games is set Allow. Also kindly refer to articles mentioned below for more details.

1. Xbox One online safety and privacy settings for parents and children.
   
2. Join a club.
   

If you are using child account, kindly refer to
Change your child’s Xbox privacy and online safety settings.

Cannot join multiplayer games due to privacy setup.

Hello, I mostly game on pc notably halo wars 2.

It's been fun, but now I cannot join multiplayer games due to privacy setups. When I access my xbox live account and visit privacy settings I found this.

You can join multiplayer games
Decide to allow or block joining multiplayer games on Xbox Live.

It is stuck on blocked. Hitting allow and submitting only refreshes the game and keeps it on blocked.

 

Can't join multiplayer games on Minecraft bedrock Xbox series xs

I can't join any online multiplayer games on Minecraft. I've changed my settings to allow multilayer games and join clubs about 20 times and it still won't work. I've logged out, logged back in, switched accounts, uninstalled Minecraft and reinstalled it, restarted my xbox, turned it on and off again. But to no avail: it won't work.
