Windows 10: I can't log into apps with my Microsoft account, nor can I add an authenticator key or passkey.

My troubles began when I tried logging into Microsoft Store with my account. The login and password are correct as they worked to log into Outlook.After clicking to log in, I get stuck in the login screen. Hello !! I want to ask something, it's not related to windows, but there isn't a more similar category.



Does the ms authenticator app support login via a passkey ?? Because it seems it doesn't.

I create a passkey on my android phone for the micosoft account, I deleted the ms authenticator app (I had a backup) and when I download again and try to sign in I couldn't do with a passkey. There wasn't an option at all.

At the end I signed in with an email and sms code, but it's strange that I couldn't with a passkey

I think adding a passkey is supported if you sign in using an Entra ID in Microsoft Authenticator - Personal accounts are not supported. Additionally, for Entra ID, the system administrator must have allowed it.

That's bad !! I hope that the passkey login on the ms authenticator will be available in the near future, especially using a third party password manager (that supports passkeys of course).
