Windows 10: I can't log into Minecraft with my Microsoft account?

I just fixed the problem with my Minecraft not opening and once i did I tried to log into Minecraft but my Microsoft account isn't working to log in.

Cant log into my Microsoft account in Minecraft.

I try to log into my Microsoft account in Minecraft windows 10 on my PC. all that pops up is a error with: "A specified logon session does not exist. It may already have been terminated". I can log into my microsoft account on my xbox or any other devise
just not minecraft windows 10. what's preventing me from accessing my account? Is it the game?

I have just bought Minecraft on pc and cannot log in. it says failed to log you into your Microsoft account, even though it didn't give me the option to put my log in details in. I can log into my Microsoft account not a problem.
