Windows 10: I can't log into my pc anymore after I got my microsoft account hacked

I need help, my laptop my second pc was signed into a microsoft account I no longer had anymore and it wouldn't let me sign out of that account and I think I had viruses/malware on the pc so I decided to reset the laptop to factory settings not keeping any of my files and then the reset finishes but my hacked microsoft account was still on the pc and because I did a factory reset it removed the PIN so the only way I can sign in is to use the microsoft account password WHICH WAS CHANGED BY THE HACKER so I can't get into my pc and I don't think the reset worked properly which it said it woul

Just simply log in with your Microsoft Account.
Switch to Microsoft Account in Windows 10

Just go back to using a local account:
Switch to Local Account in Windows 10

Hopefully the tutorials are step by step enough.

Also may I suggest you change email accounts to one of the following.....

Gmail
Outlook

The reason is they both use "Step two verification". This style of verification means even if a hacker gets your password they cannot log in to your account. You see every time someone try's to log in that hasn't been verified you will get a text or a phone call giving you a final code to log in. Its very easy and simple to setup also. The great thing is once you setup your Email application with a specific "application password" from that account you never have to log in again AND your account is protected from being logged in from foreign entities.

I like the new outlook personally however Gmail is also damn good. Gmail also has an IP tracker that allows you to see WHERE the account has been logged in from. Anyway let us know if you wanna change over and have any questions. We will be happy to help and welcome to TPU!

I bought a used laptop running Win 10 Pro. winver reports 1809.
How do I register my PC with my Microsoft account?
But when I'm done, I'd like to use my local account each time to log in.
Please tell me how to do that.
I am very new at Win 10, and need step by step instructions.
