I want to login into minecraft launcher but everytime I try it requires the password from my previous and now inactive microsoft account and I dont know where can I change the email.

The new Minecraft Launcher closes when I click on Microsoft login

So, the new Minecraft Launcher released today. After I started the old Minecraft Launcher it told me to upgrade to a new one, which I did. After I installed the new Minecraft Launcher from the Microsoft store I tried to login to my Microsoft account and that didn't work because the Launcher would then just close. What can I do to solve it?

Issue signing into Microsoft account on Xbox app and Minecraft launcher

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Your account can be logged in on the official website and Microsoft Store, which means that it is completely fine to log in to the service and account.

You can flow these steps to try solve the issue:

1. Click search on the taskbar, type "services", and click to open the Service App in the search results.
   
2. Search for the services starting with Xbox in the Service list, and make sure they are all enabled.
   
3. Then, please reopen the Xbox app and the Minecraft launcher, and click Login to see if you can enter the account password to log in successfully.
