Windows 10: I can't login to excel on desktop because it won't accept my sign in

after I try to sign into excel using my Microsoft account, it keep prompting me to sign in with windows hello, after I put in the PIN, it keeps saying that something went wrong and that my account has been added to Windows, but next time you are using the account we'll ask you to verify your account using Windows Hello. I just want to be able to login and use excel on my desktop.Please advise.Thanks

After Windows 10 update, signin screen won`t accept my pssword.

Sign-in screen won`t take my password after Windows 10 update on a new HP laptop. I had setup a pin login but now asks for Microsoft password which I wrote down and have used before but will not accept now.
