  2. N95 on T-Mobile in UK - Web n Walk browser problem

    Hello I have a problem with my Web n Walk browser on T-Mobile, its a little bit similar to the WLAN "No gateway reply" problem but I also get an error message saying "Gateway Timed Out".



    I have had the phone for nearly two years and its been fine, however, recently Opera Mini couldn't connect to the internet, I went back to using the phone's browser and I can get to the T-Mobile Web N walk homepage - which updates with the latest news feeds
    etc. and I can navigate around T-Zones etc. but when I type in a non Web n Walk URL or use my bookmarks I constantly get the error messages described above.



    I have spoken to T-Mobile at length but they really couldn't help me other than sending me the internet settings again.



    I have searched through many different threads and a lot of the replies are suggesting (quite correctly) to update to the latest firmware, hard reset, soft reset etc.



    The T-Mobile person I spoke to said that I shouldn't do these (for an unspecified reason) and anyway I am not really confident of saving all my phone memory + messages + memory card to my PC and then updating the firmware without losing all my data or destroying
    the phone.



    Has anyone else heard of this specific problem with the browser?



    Any help or suggestions would be more than gratefully received.

    • Are you able to login to Microsoft Account on Web?

    • Have you installed any language pack?
    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

    Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

    Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.
