Windows 10: I cant login to my microsoft account i use recover by phone number but verification method...

i did fill form for recover my account but they said my data is not fullfiledi never add credit card, i never use xbox one or 360i only have minecraft and xbox gamertag how to recover it then if all cant be right?

Each Microsoft account has at least two verification methods, the phone number and additional email address which are asked and required when you set up a new Microsoft account with a new hotmail.com or outlook.com email or using a third party email.

You do need a phone number because Microsoft accounts use two step verification authentication to setup.

which means when you login it will send you a text for verification.

It is in your best interest for security reasons to do this.

Microsoft will never call or text or share your number.
