Windows 10: I can't move my Documents to a separate location because onedrive has it locked.

Hi,After the latest update OneDrive forced itself to back up my Documents folder to OneDrive and move it from my data HDD.I try to deselect my Documents from my back up but OneDrive won't let me.I don't want anything to do with OneDrive anymore. I just want it to stop and let me move my folder back to where it was.The same issue has happened with my Desktop folder.Thanks for your assistance

I had checked a restore point, but unfortunately being a new laptop, there wasn't any (I'll be sure to make one before faffing around in future..!).

Solution: Once I'd used the .bat file, the Location Property option had returned. I used the Location Property settings to relocate the Documents folder into OneDrive (the first step I had done) and this reset the issues I has having, allowing me the option to move the Documents folder back to being separate (I chose not to do this in the end as having it in OneDrive meant it automatically saved via OneDrive and to the 'This PC' Documents folder.

This issue may be due to an incorrect location target. To correct this, kindly follow these steps:

• Right click the Documents folder where OneDrive files are showing.
• Select Properties, and then Location. Yours might look like this:
  C:\Users\Your username\OneDrive\Documents.
• If this is the case, you will need to create a new folder, select all the OneDrive files in the
  Documents folder, and then change its location to transfer it to the created folder.
• After emptying the Documents folder, right click it and change the location to:
  C:\Users\Your username\Documents.

In the Notifications area at the bottom of your Windows screen

Right-click the OneDrive icon and click Settings.

You might have to click Show hidden icons to find OneDrive

In the Settings box, on the Auto save tab, under Documents and Pictures, click the list at Documents or Pictures and pick the default save location you want

This PC only - When you create a file, the Documents or Pictures folder under This PC is the first-choice location offered to save it. The file is not saved to OneDrive unless you do so separately, and it is available only on the PC you used to save it.
