Windows 10: I can't open any web browser aside from Edge

Edge is great, except where it comes to Google programs. I need to use these programs for school, and I also have a lot of experience using them, so I'm more comfortable with them than with Microsoft programs. However, when I try to use Google programs on Edge, there are a lot of glitches. While it doesn't make them unusable, it does make it very difficult, as Edge refuses to load certain aspects - such as Google logos, images on Slides presentations, tools and add-ons on Google Docs, and more. Now, every time I ask for help regarding this issue, I'm told that I should just use some other web

No way to change the Home page in Edge web browser

I suggest you to follow the below steps to set the homepage on EDGE browser

  Click on the More actions (…) icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the EDGE browser.

  Click on Settings from the drop down menu.

  Select A specific page or pages under
  open with.
  
• 
  Click on the option down to the
  A specific page or pages and select Custom from the drop down menu.

  You can Enter a web address (which you want to set as home page) in the text box by clicking on
  + button.

  Close the EDGE browser and open it again for the changes to take effect.

Web links in other apps take forever to open in browser

Hi,

The issue your experiencing about the hyperlink can happen to one or more of the following reasons:

• The setting where you choose what web browser that you want to use is corrupted. This can cause Windows to misinterpret which browser is set as the default browser on your computer.
• After the software was installed, settings were changed, which can cause links to webpages to work incorrectly.
• A previously installed browser or add-in might be interfering with other software on your computer.
• Registry keys were changed or became corrupted.

You can set Internet Explore or Microsoft Edge as your default browser for opening weblinks in your app and check if the issue will still occur.

We suggest to clear cache and cookies from the Microsoft Edge browser. See steps below:

• Open Microsoft Edge, click on More Action at the right top corner.
• Click on Settings, click on Choose what to clear under Clear browsing data.
• Select the Browsing history, caches and cookies and hit Clear.
• Close the browser and try to open it again.

A Faster Web Browser for Windows 10?

You always have the option to use other browsers, however I strongly suggest that you use Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer because of the newer features. To address your issue we are going to enable your Flash Player Plugin. Kindly follow these steps:

• Click the "..." button on the upper right corner of your Edge browser.
• Click on Settings.
• Under Advanced settings section, click the View advanced settings button.
• Locate the Use Adobe Flash Player section and toggle the switch on to enable Adobe Flash Player.
• Refresh your web page or open a new browser tab.
