Windows 10: i cant open games on steam due to the display driver issue

I have noticed that some games that I play on steam does not open, meaning it runs in the background but wont go full screen.I can notice it running in the Background but whenever I click on the application in the taskbar it glitches and wont open but still runs.After further investigation I found it is something related to the Display driver of the integrated AMD graphics, in event viewer I found out this error. log name Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-PnP/Device Configurationsource kernel PnPevent id 411Device PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_1638&SUBSYS_88EB103C&REV_C6\4&2feae042&0&

Unable to Open Steam Games

Hi Antonio,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

This issue could occur if your graphic drivers are incompatible with the Operating system.

I suggest you to update the graphics card drivers/display drivers from manufacturer website and check if it resolves the issue.

• 
  Open Device Manager.
  
• 
  Expand ‘Display Adapter’.
  
• 
  Locate the display driver.
  
• 
  Right-click on the display card listed and click on ‘Update Driver Software’
  

If issue still persists, I would suggest you to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if it works.

Follow the steps provided below to install the drivers in compatibility mode:

• Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘properties’.
• Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for” and select Operating system from the drop down.
• Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.

Windows 10 Steam game crashes

Hi,

To assist you better, I would like to ask some questions:

• Does the issue occur only with Steam games or all games?
• Are you able to view videos?
• What is the make and model of your computer?

I suggest you to update the Graphic Card driver by following the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update the driver.
