Windows 10: I cant open my laptop for more than 3 hours still its saying sign in options is disabled...

My computer got hanged or something idk, so i thought of ending the tasks in task manager and there was only one app that was running and that is my file explorer and i ended it , suddenly it got all black screen and i cant do anything so i pushed the power button straight and the system turned off , and then i again pushed the power button to restart the normally the password window came and i entered the password and clicked enter ,then its showing this sign in option is disabled because of failed sign in attempts or repeated shutdowns.....like it goes ,what should I dont know and its been l

not able to sign-in to my windows 11 laptop. PIN sign-in option is disabled because of failed sing-in attempts or repeated shutdowns

1. I am not able to sign-in to my windows 11 laptop. (acer Nitro)
   
2. When I start my laptop, then I get "you have entered incorrect pin several times, To try again, enter A1B2C3",
   
3. after entering A1B2C3, I get screen to enter PIN,
   
4. but as soon as I enter my PIN, it leads to another screen saying
   
   "This sign-in option is disabled because of failed sign-in attempts or repeated shutdowns. Use a different sign-in options, or keep your device powered on for at least 2 hours and then try again."
   
5. Then I have kept the laptop powered on for 5-7 hours multiple times, still it does not recover.
   
6. So I am not able to sign-in to my laptop for last 3 days.
   

Not finding any Solution to this after searching a lot on internet.

Can you please help me getting access to my laptop as soon as possible?

Sign in option is disabled

I am trying to help my brother in law open windows 10 on his laptop, unfortunately he has Parkinson's and has forgotten his pin and password.

The pin he has given me does not seem to work and comes up with the message - sign up option is disabled leave switched on for 2hrs and try again. he has obviously been trying that I assume is why I get this message.

Tried after 3 hours still get the same message

Please can you advise how to get over this problem, especially as I am not sure he has the correct password or pin

Have suggested a complete reset but he does not wish to loose his stored files and I expect I would still need a passport to do that.

HELP please.

 

Disable Sign In PIN

Hi I'm Peter an independent advisor, if you want to disable Windows 10 PIN sign in option, you can do it in this way.

Step 1: Press Windows and R key on the keyboard and enter gpedit.msc on Run open box. Then, press Enter or click the OK button to access Local Group Policy Editor.

Step 2: In this interface, access Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Systems > Logon > Turn on PIN sign-in.

Step 3: Double click Turn on PIN sign-in, and set this option to Disabled. Then click OK and Apply button. After that, the PIN sign in option is disabled.
