Windows 10: I can't open normal windows app like Photos,Camera and clock

Hey, can someone help me to get rid of these things? they are listed below:-1. I can't open Windows apps like camera, photos, clock, and calculator, when I open it they always keep crashing2. I don't know my system is corupted or not but when I run chkdsk in command prompt it shows some errors.it shows "Stage 1: Examining basic file system structure ... 1374976 file records processed. File verification completed. Phase duration File record verification: 1.60 minutes. 15384 large file records processed. Phase duration Orphan file record recovery: 0.00 milliseconds. 0 bad file record

trying to download photos from my camera onto my laptop, camera plugged into the laptop but photos app won't open: How do I open the Photos App in windows 10?

To assist you better, I like to know; is the Photos app will not open only when trying to download photos from camera?

It seems the some of the app setting got corrupted.

I suggest you to run app troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Type troubleshooting in the
  Search area on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Click on View all on the left panel of the Troubleshooting Windows.
  
• 
  Select Windows store Apps.
  
• 
  Follow the on screen instruction.

Photos and Camera apps broken

My MS Photos app is no longer displaying photos, or videos. If I double click on any JPG the Photos app opens but displays a blank white screen. If I try to reset the app from Settings/Troubleshooting I also get a blank white screen when I select the Photos app.

If I right-click on a JPG in File Explorer and select the "Open with" menu option the process freezes before opening the list of apps. I need to kill the Explorer process in Task Manager to recover it.

If I capture a video using the MS Camera app I can see it in the "Collection" list when I open the Photos app, but the thumbnail is grey and the video does not play back when I click on it - I just get a blank white screen.

I'm running Windows 10 Pro 21H1 - OS Build 19043.1706.

Any idea how I can fix this?

 

Photos are opening with Paint instead of Photos app

Hello,

It's likely that your default application for opening photos is Paint. To change your default program in Windows 10 from
Paint to the Photo app, we suggest that you perform the following steps:

• On the Start menu, select Settings.
  
• Go to System, then go to Default apps.
  
• Select Photos or any app that you like to be the default under
  Photo viewer.
