Windows 10: I can't paste text from my computer to my Android phone using Phone Link

I recently upgraded from Win10 to Win11. I had been able to paste text between my computer and my phone using Phone Link. Now, I can only copy and paste from my phone to my computer. The computer clipboard history using WinKey+V shows what I've copied from both. The phone clipboard history only shows what I've copied on my phone.Computer: Windows 11, the system and all apps are current.System > Apps > Apps & Features > Share across devices - My devices onlySystem > Clipboard > Sync across your devices - Automatically sync text that I copySystem > Apps > Apps & Fe

windows 8 phone vs android?

I think the Lumia 920 is better than the HTC 8X. I can tell you Windows Phone 8 is good and the Lumia 920 is solid but I can't tell you if it is better than Android.

I think if you use your phone as a phone with occassional browsing, texting, and an app or two, Windows Phone 8 will probably be the better choice. If you are going to install dozens of apps and basically use your phone as a computer substitute, Android is probably better.

If you think you're going to use text-to-speech and speech-to-text a lot, go with Windows Phone 8.


Better yet, just go to a phone store and check all four out and decide what you like best.

 

Need a cheap android phone

Hey gang, I placed my Mother in law on our phone plan so she will have access to a cell phone. She currently buys those pay as you go deals.

So I'm going to pay for her to have a phone and be on an unlimited plan as a gift for Christmas.

I'm in need of a very cheap android phone. She is 80+ years old and doesn't need anything fancy but she will want to keep up with facebook, text messages, email and maybe a couple of apps. The phone doesn't have to be anything special but I want at least 8GB of on-board memory, a dual or quad core cpu with a minimum of 1gb ram running android. It has to be unlocked GSM so I can add in a sim card. I would prefer something that can do 4G LTE.

I've been all over the web and I have found a lot of phones from unknown china companies and I just don't know what to pick. I'm trying to keep the phone cost under $100 per my Wife's instructions.
