Windows 10: i cant play minecraft after migration i have bought the game but there is 0 help from...

Bought minecraft, but I can't play

Hi,

I bought minecraft in 2020 and I think I migrated my account from Mojang to Microsoft. But, I can't play. My launcher keeps saying I can only play the demo, while I bought the game for sure. I somehow can't connect the two together and I've looked everywhere. Microsoft/Xbox want me to pay again, but I don't want to do that obviously. I even tried to migrate my account again, but that doesn't work either. What can I do to finally play again?

 

Can't play minecraft on new computer

I recently bought a new windows 10 computer and have not been able to play minecraft on it. I have gotten my accounts migrated and all the recommended steps followed , but it tells me that I don't own the game. Is windows 10 version different than java?
Do I have to buy the newer version?
