    I cant play mp3s, so and mp4s.


    This computer was first used in 2016. And I first used it in 2021. Now this message is apearing when i play an mp3 or mp4. Even using a built in web player like youtube, it will not work and will instead show a YT taskbar butwhen you click the play button, the video doesn't move.

    N6230i mp3 to mp4 convertor

    Err?, the 6230i will play mp3 files already, so no need to convert to mp4. Hope this helps.

    No thumbnails and data like 'lenght' for MP3 / MP4 / PDF

    ALL IS SOLVED, steps followed:
    - Ran the troubleshooter 'Windows Updates' which detected and fixed some issues
    - Ran the search for Windows Updates again which now found 2 additional updates and installed them:
    * KB4580419 - 2020-11 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10 version 2004 for x64
    * KB4586781 - 2020-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 version 2004 for x64-based systems
    - Rebooted my system and all was fine again (thumbnails of MP3/MP4/... are back, MP3 artists, titles, lengths etc are back)

    Mp4 support on N86

    Yes it supports mp4 or m4a. Camcord a video(thats the supported format). Even if it's just audio mp4 file, it will still play using the real player. But I suggest use mp3 format for the music player.
