  2. iPhone or Android recommendations

Android, as a pc enthusiast you probably like customisation and fiddling with stuff.

Even non rooted Android is brilliant for fiddling!

Lots of different launchers/dialers/contacts lists/widgets/lock screens/ other UI additions/changes to download.

+ Apps! Most Apps on Android are free as well and the number of app in the market is rapidly catching up to the App store.

But having said that I am massively biased lol

  3. Windows Subsystems for Android - disable root

    Hi.

I have Windows 11 and installed Windows Subsystems for Android on it.

I followed a guide online and successfully installed Google Play store, which allows me to install any Android app from there.

The guide can be found here:

How to run Google Play Store Android apps on Windows 11

The issue that i have is with root. Some apps that i wanted to use tell me that they won't run because the Android system is rooted.

I didn't do anything in particular to root Android and I was wondering, though I expect it to be a long shot - is there any way I can unroot that system? Would running it under a standard user account, not an administrator, fix this?

Note that i don't run the app with administrator privileges (UAC) but i am running am administrator account on the PC.

    Thank you!
