Windows 10: I can't reset my laptop to factory settings while keeping my files on windows 11, even with...

helloi'm trying to reset my windows 11 laptop because it's running slow. i want to 'keep my files'i wanted to use the simple method of creating removable media and using that as a toolhowever, my windows 11 refuses to recognize the USB as removable media, halting me in my tracks.this is super frustrating as it seems the only way to reset my computer while keeping my files.i've tried one usb so far, i don't really have any more usb's to trycan anyone suggest a fix?

I have been trying to reset my laptop to sell and followed instructions to reset to factory settings as below

1. Select the category “System and Security” in the control panel.
   
2. In the section “Backup and restore” you can find “Recover system settings on your computer” and then click on “Advanced recovery settings”.
   
3. Then, you need to click on “Return your computer to factory condition
   

I do not have the option Return your computer to factory condition in step 3

Any ideas?

I also have the added challenge that my keyboard does not work as I spilt water on it.

This has taken me hours to try and resolve!!
