Windows 10: I can't reset my Laptop (With USB drive and through reset this PC)

I will reset my Laptop every once and awhile for a fresh start and to free space. But this time it said "There was a problem resetting your pc. No changes were made." I was going to just use the windows media creation tool with a USB stick and reinstall that way, But the only USB drive i have is 2 GB and it needs more space. I have tried a few things in the Command Prompt that i saw people did to fix this on YouTube, But those didn't work. If anybody knows how to fix this, Please reply!

reset laptop password

i could not figure out what forum this should go in, so feel free to move to whatever forum it should be in.
a friend just called, and said he has 2 daughters and 2 dell laptops. his daughters have lost the password to both laptops. is there a way to reset the password without a full reformat? he said his daughters have a lot of music, pictures, ect. and wants to avoid reinstalling windows.
i know that a long time ago there was a jumper on the motherboard that would reset the password on a regular pc. is there such a jumper on a laptop? or is there any free software that would let him reset the passwords? he can not afford a dell tech to fix, and i told him i would see if there was a way to reset it without a format. thanks!

CANT FACTORY RESET MY LAPTOP OR RESET MY PC

Dear Sayan,

I have followed the guidelines suggested to Rest PC. I have tried a clean reset and the one with files, but nothing works. I also tried the below option but I got an error (posted below).

• Using the tool to create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file) to install Windows 10

Can you suggest what other ways are possible to reset my PC.
