Windows 10: I can't reset my PIN without internet but I can't connect to internet without signing in...

Hi, recently my desktop broke down and I had to buy a new one. I put my hard drive from my old PC into the new one and I tried to sign in, but it told me that I had to reset my PIN to sign in. However, I'm unable to access any sort of internet because it's a new PC and I guess it doesn't have the required drivers installed. I'm not sure, but there's only the option of turning airplane mode on and off. So now I'm stuck without being able to sign into my computer because I can't access wifi, but I need wifi in order to sign into my computer. How does this make any sense? I've tried searching th

For us to pin down this issue on your computer, particularly with Internet Explorer, may we know if you've already tried resetting Internet Explorer? If you haven't tried that yet, then you can follow these steps:

• Open Internet Explorer.
• Go to Tools, then click Internet Options.
• Click Connections, then go to LAN settings, and uncheck the option “Automatically detect settings” and click
  Apply & OK.
• After that, re-open Internet Explorer.

You may also temporarily turn off the Firewall and antivirus settings.

Let us know the outcome after performing the suggested steps.

 

I can´t connect to the internet on applications

I just upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and I ca´t connect to internet in any application besides the ones that come with Windows. For Example: I tried to sign my account of spotify in the application and says it is not connected to the internet while
I am using Microsoft Edge. Also while trying to download uTorrent it downloaded fine in the browser, but then in the application to install the program it can't download anything and this has happened with every other application that needs internet. Please
help

 

can,t sign in with password on my laptop

i checked for updates this morning and all their was was a security update,after it updated successfully i did a restart , now when my login screen comes up i don,t have the option to put in my password, it just ask for a pin number which i have but when i try to use the shift key to start to put in my pin it won,t put in the # sign. when i get on the internet by going through reset pin which i cancel, i can use the shift key then to put the # sign in.

Help Please
