Windows 10: I can't rest my laptop or repair files

So my laptop has full storage but no files in it so I tired to update it, it says it can't after that i tired to reset it and reinstall window and it say there was a problem with resetting your pc so I try to repair file with sfc it doesn't work saying windows resource protection could not perform the requested operation. My laptop is a HP Stream x360 11-p000 Series and runs on window 8.1

How did you reset the laptop, is it on the Settings?

You can try to perform Repair Install, this is the same as resetting your computer.

Step 1: Download Media Creation Tool from Microsoft.

Click “Download Tool Now”

Step 2: Run MediaCreationTool.exe.

Step 3: Choose "Upgrade this PC now".

Step 4: Choose from "Keep personal files and apps". or " Keep Nothing" if you

want to wipe out everything in your device.

Step 5: Let it install

Corrupted file RAR

If the archive has been created using WinRAR, why don't you try WinRAR itself? It has a built-in repair feature for repairing corrupted archive (ZIP as well as RAR). Follow the steps given below:

• Open WinRAR application in your system.
• Now click on File tab > Open or simply press Ctrl+O.
• A small window "Find Archive" will pop up. Locate the corrupt RAR archive from your system directory and select it.
• Now click Open button.
• Click Tools tab > Repair archive or simply press Alt+R.
• Again a small window "Repairing File name.rar" will pop up.
• Now click Browse to select a location to save the repaired archive.
• Check the box "Treat the corrupt archive as RAR" and click OK.
• WinRAR will start repairing of corrupt RAR archive. Once it gets completed click Close.

I hope the above steps will help you repair the corrupted RAR archive.
