Windows 10: I can't run any apps as administrator.

I recently got a new laptop for school, which shipped with windows 11. I first ran into this issue when I tried to run CMD as administrator.Rightclicking on it shows the context menu, but even when clicking on advanced options, there's no option to run as administrator. Creating a shortcut on the desktop and setting it up to run as administrator doesn't work. It just launches the app regarless, in non-admin mode.Searching for CMD or any app with the start menu does show the option to run as administrator, but clicking it simply does nothing.I've searched for hours online looking for a soluti

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

on your applications. Kindly follow the steps below on how to turn User Account Control On or Off:

• Type in UAC on the search bar.
  
• Click Change User Account Control settings in the search results.
• Perform the following steps:
  • To turn UAC off, drag the slider down to Never notify and click
    OK.
  • To turn UAC on, drag the slider up to the desired level of security and click
    OK.
• You may be prompted to confirm your selection or enter your administrator password.
• Reboot your computer for the change to take effect.
