Windows 10: I can't screen from my laptop to my roku tv, why?

My laptop cannot screen to my Roku TV. It discovers the roku tv, but when it can never connect. I've restarted both the roku and laptop, made sure everything was updated on both ends. Up until a day ago it was working fine, then midway using the screen mirroring feature it stopped. Since then I've been unable to screen from my laptop to my tv. I removed my laptop from the devices allowed screen on roku, and tried again. Now it won't even display as discoverable. I've called Roku and it's not on there end. I can still screen using my phone. But when I try to screen on my laptop, not on

Project (mirror) Laptop to TV using Roku

Have a new 2 in 1 (HP) running Win 10. Have Roku 3 connected to my TV. I want to mirror my laptop screen to the TV so I can display slideshows (Photoshop, ProShow). I have mirror enabled on ROKU.

When I go into Intel WiDi, I can connect to ROKU and there is a list of folders on my laptop screen. If I select a folder with photos, and double click on a photo, it shows up on my TV. However, this is not mirroring, I cannot run a slideshow and project
it to the TV, only a single photo at a time and only if I double click on it.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

 

Windows 11 won't screen on Roku TV

Not able to project Windows 10 screen to Roku TV

I am using Sharp Roku TV and I usually connect my laptop through wireless adapter to this TV and work, from yesterday I am not able to do so.

The TV is not even getting listed in the devices when i search now, I tried factory reset on TV also but it did not help. What could be the reason for this , any suggestions for resolving this ? Thanks in advance.
