Windows 10: I cant see the 5Ghz option

Hello, I watched tons of videos on how to get 5Ghz Internet from your router on Win 10!

They say I need to do following steps:

Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network and Sharing Center -> Change Adapter Settings -> Network Connections -> Then I right click on my Internet and select Properties -> Then Configure on the Window that pops up -> Advanced and then there should be a Option named "Preferred Band" but at My computer there isn´t !

Can someone help me?

I´ve checked in CMD and my router and my PC support 5Ghz but I cant select any options, all the drivers are up to date, I dont know what to do...

Thanks for your replay Mr. Jack but I have tried everything resetting my phone, router also but I have never seen my phone show the 5Ghz networks....!!! Anything else u can suggest?? It works well with the 2.5Ghz network...!! I have other phones at home which
connects to the 5Ghz network and works fine..!! It's only my 950xl which doesn't show the 5Ghz network...!!

 

5GHz Wifi

Hello. I want to connect to 5GHz wifi, but its not showing up in the connection list. I've done a bit of research and my laptop should be able to connect to the 5GHz band.

 

5ghz support on Lumia range

Hi, I want to get a Windows phone and am looking at the Lumia range but it has to support 5ghz wi-fi.



The phone specs only list the wi-fi bands supported which isn't overly helpful, so is there a list of Lumias that support 5ghz, or if you have one could you tell me if it supports it?
