Windows 10: I can't see the network name or password in the moblie hotspot properties.

Im in the mobile hotspot settings and when i click on properties the only thing that shows up is Devices connected 0 out of 7.I have tried to search the problem up but i cant find anything about it.

Moblie Hotspot Problems.

To isolate your concern, we recommend that you reconfigure your Mobile hotspot to make things work. We suggest that you uninstall the network adapter through device manager. To do this, follow the steps below:

• Right-click on the Start Menu.
• Select Device Manager.
• Look for Network adapters and click on it to expand.
• Right-click from the network device and click on Properties.
• Go to Driver tab and select Uninstall.
• Restart your computer for the changes to take effect. Note that Windows 10 includes native drivers for your network adapter. It will be reinstalled automatically.
• In the Search box, type
  Settings and press Enter.
• Click on Network and Internet.
• Select Mobile Hotspot.
• Turn on Mobile Hotspot.
• Reconfigure your Wi-Fi name and its password.
• Reconnect your devices and check if the issue persists.

The network name and password that you see on your mobile hotspot is automatically set by Windows as default. If you wish to change these information, you can follow the steps below:

• Type Settings in the search box and press Enter.
• Select Network and Internet.
• Select Mobile hotspot.
• Click Edit.
• Type in your desired network name and password.
• Click Save.

You may change the password of your mobile hotspot so that the person you don't allowed to use it can't connect to it. To assist you better, we'd like to know if you've tried changing the password. Which build and version of Windows 10 are you using?

In the meantime, we suggest that you follow these steps below on how you can change the password of the Mobile hotspot.:

• Open Settings then select Network & Internet.
• Choose Mobile hotspot.
• Under Mobile hotspot section, you can see the current name of the Wi-Fi hotspot and password. To change mobile hotspot name or password or both, click the
  Edit button.
• Enter a new password for the network. Click Save button. Note that the password must be of at least 8 characters.
