Windows 10: I can't seem to turn down my brightness.

For the past week or so i have been struggling trying to turn down my brightness, I have tried all the techniques that other people have suggested the internet But i still can't turn my brightness down and its very painful at 100%.

• Aside from the suggested resolution in this thread, what other troubleshooting steps have you done so far to resolve the issue?
• When did the issue first begin?
• Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue (e.g., updates, software installation)?

Brightness Control not working in Windows 10

To adjust the brightness, see the steps below:

• Go back to Power Options, and tick on the High performance.
• See if you can adjust the brightness.

If this not work, we highly suggest that you create an Administrator account, and re-do the steps above.

Some computers can let Windows automatically adjust screen brightness based on the current lighting conditions.

To manually adjust the screen brightness, we suggest following these troubleshooting steps:

• Click Start, then select Settings.
• Choose System, then select Display.
• Under Brightness and color, move the Change brightness slider to adjust the brightness.
