Windows 10: I can't set my Bluetooth keyboard to UK English - I have tried everything - help!

I am in the UK, using an ASUS laptop. The internal laptop keyboard works perfectly in UK English.I have now added a bluetooth keyboard but I cannot set it to UK English layout. I have searched on the web and tried every solution I can find, but nothing works:I went into the typing settings and changed it to UK, I changed the language settings to UK, changed the keyboard to UK, added UK extended keyboard setting and set that, updated the Control panel to show UK English, changed to UK English in the PowerShell. I restarted my computer numerous times!Every single setting I have is set to UK En

Keyboard settings (UK layout not working)

I have a UK layout keyboard (shift + 2 is "), but my computer insists on using US layout (shift + 2 is @). I use a Corsair STRAFE keyboard.

• In iCue (Corsair keyboard app), the layout is set to UK.
• In Settings app, the system language is English UK. The Preferred language is English UK, and the keyboard has one layout, English UK.
  • If I add a US keyboard to it, and use Win + Space, two options show up to cycle through:
    • English (UK) - US Keyboard
      
    • English (US) - US Keyboard
• In Control Panel main menu, there is only 'Clock and Region,' not 'Clock,
  Language, and Region.'

Please any help would be great!

Language setting for English - UK says " Windows display language : enabled. Keyboard layout : none available.

@ and " transposed on keyboard.

Tried swopping to US setting. not a major problem except when typing e-mail addresses.

Any ideas please?

 

Get Cortana to work in English (UK) for Windows 10

I upgraded to Windows 10, and Cortana doesn’t seem to be available based on the Start Menu:

but when I click the link, it takes me to this page:





which suggests it should be available in the UK, since I've checked

• my language settings are English (UK),
  
• I have the English (UK) language pack installed, and
  
• the speech settings are also set to English (UK).
  

I think this is everything, right?  It certainly ticks the boxes in the Microsoft help article.

How can I get Cortana up & running?
