Windows 10: I can’t sign in to my Xbox or Microsoft Store Account

Any time I try to sign in to either service, the sign in pop-up flashes briefly before completely disappearing. What do I do?

Xbox Insider Hub does not appear in the Microsoft Store

1. Did you make any changes to the PC prior to this issue?
   
2. Have you signed in using the Microsoft account?
   
3. Are you able to search for other apps on the Microsoft Store?
   

However, you may follow these steps to check if that helps.

Step 1: Suggest you to run the apps troubleshooter to
fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store.

Step 2: You can also try to manually
download the Xbox Insider Hub from the link.

Regarding your issue with signing in to the Windows Store, try clearing the store cache with the steps below:

• 
  Press Windows + R on your keyboard.
  
• 
  Type wsreset.exe, then press
  Enter.
  
• 
  Restart computer.

App store and Microsoft account


Yes. When you sign in to the Store with a Microsoft account like in step 5 in Option Two of the tutorial below instead of switching to a Microsoft account you will and stay a local account.
