Windows 10: I can't sign in windows account on my new pc

1. I activated my Windows account using the product key.2. I changed my password just in case the old password is not correct.3. Did pass the enter ur current password one last time stage.4. created a new PIN for my account as well.4.5. can log in using the web page which is why I can ask questions here.Problem- still can't log in after all that no matter using my email/password or the pin I just created, it always says - "Oops, something went wrongWhatever happened, it was probably our fault. Please try again."any fix for this?

sign into microsoft account glitch

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

• Is this the only account on the computer?
• Was this account upgraded from previous version of Windows?

It looks like you are using a local account. I suggest you follow these steps:

• Click on search in taskbar and type account.
• Click on Accounts.
• Now, under Your account, click on Sign in with Microsoft account instead.
• Enter your Local account password for confirmation and then follow the screen instruction.
• Enter User name credentials for your the new Microsoft account and click OK.

Am unable to create a new user. Accounts -> Add someone else to this PC options is not working to create a new account.

Do not worry we will help you with this issue.

Try few of the troubleshooting steps below and check if it helps.

I suggest you to sign out from the current user account, restart the computer, sign-in and check with the status of this issue. As this might be a temporary issue.

Follow the below steps to create a new user account:

• Press Windows + X keys from the keyboard, click on
  Control Panel.
• Select User Accounts, click on Manage another account.
• Select Add a new user in PC settings, click on
  Add someone else to this PC and follow onscreen instructions.

I cannot sign into a new account

1. Check your username and password: Make sure that you're entering your username and password correctly. Remember that passwords are case-sensitive. Also, your username for a local account might be different from your email address if that's what you're using to sign in on the browser.
   
2. Use the full username: If your computer is part of a domain, you might need to enter your full username in the format domain\username
   
3. Sign out of the current account: If another account is currently signed in, try signing out or restarting the computer before attempting to sign in to the new account.
   
4. Check the account type: Ensure that the account you created is a local account, not a Microsoft account. Local accounts use a username, not an email address, to sign in.
   
5. Reset your password: If you're unsure about your password, you can reset it. Press the Shift key while selecting Restart from the power options (located in the lower-right corner of the login screen). After your PC restarts, select Troubleshoot > Reset this PC. Follow the steps to reset your PC, which will include creating a new password for your account.
