Windows 10: I can't sign into any Microsoft games on my computer

I've had this problem ever since I've gotten a new PC. Whenever I try to sign into ANY game I bought through the Microsoft store, it says that I am unable to sign in. I can't even sign into the Xbox app, which just shows a gray box for about half a second and doesn't do anything after. However, I am signed into Microsoft store, which is very odd. If anyone can find a fix for this please let me know :

Step 3: Sign out and sign in your account from the game.

• Is this the only account on the computer?
• Was this account upgraded from previous version of Windows?

It looks like you are using a local account. I suggest you follow these steps:

• Click on search in taskbar and type account.
• Click on Accounts.
• Now, under Your account, click on Sign in with Microsoft account instead.
• Enter your Local account password for confirmation and then follow the screen instruction.
• Enter User name credentials for your the new Microsoft account and click OK.
