Windows 10: I can’t sign into my laptop whatsoeverWindows 11

I attempted to log into my laptop the other day and was met with a message telling me “Something happened and your PIN isn’t available” with the options “Set up my PIN” and “Sign-In Options”. “Set up my PIN” didn’t do anything the color of the button would dim indicating that I clicked it but nothing would happen. Clicking “Sign-In Options” prompted me to use my password. My usual password didn’t work, and neither did my Microsoft password. Upon clicking “Forgot Password” I was prompted to answer three security questions, all of which I apparently answered wrong. I gave up yesterday when the

Hi,

About your concern with typing the password after being idle, it is actually recommended to activate for security reasons.

If you wish to disable it, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Click on Sign in options.
• On the right side, you will see required sign in.
• Change it to Never.
