Windows 10: I cant sign into my laptop

I cant sign into my laptop- it says my pin isnt correct, At the part where PC stars in Safe mode, it boots into safe mode but the screen says "You've entered the incorrect pin too many times. You PIN is disabled for 5 minutes" Once that 5 min are up, it wants me to put in A1B2C3 and hit enter...then it wants my PIN There is no option for password...just the PIN and I have tried all that I would possibly use and then some. Nothing is working. I use my outlook account on that computer as well as my Surface. Win 10 on desktop and Win 11 on Surface. Help!!!

About your concern with typing the password after being idle, it is actually recommended to activate for security reasons.

If you wish to disable it, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Click on Sign in options.
• On the right side, you will see required sign in.
• Change it to Never.

Once you're able to sign in, you can change the sign-in options by following these steps:

  Under PIN, click Add.

  Enter your password or any other required information when prompted and click
