Windows 10: I Can't sign into the Word App

I am trying to sign into the Word app on my PC for either my personal account or my school account, both of which have a paid subscription. Everything works normally online. When I try to log in on any Microsoft app I get stuck when I have to sign in. I have tried both emails and have got the same response: That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different account or get a new one. How is this possible if on my laptop I have no problem logging into any Microsoft app? I have downloaded Word and I am signed into it but I don't have access to any of my documents and nothing is shared with m

There's a possibility that you are currently signed in on your computer using your local account. For us to sort this out, we suggest that you sign in with your Microsoft account instead. Follow these steps:

• Open Settings > Accounts > Your email and accounts.
• Select Sign in with a Microsoft account instead.
• Follow the on-screen instructions.

Once signed in with your Microsoft account on your computer, try signing into the Windows Store app.

Can't sign in Office Apps?

If you go to your Office account using a browser can you log in.

You should see what machines are logged in.

Might I suggest you force the log off at this level and then go back to an Office app like Word and then sign in.

 

Can I customize the list of suggest apps in the "Open with" menu?

Word is not in the Open with selection list. He wants to add it to that specific .pdf Open with list.
