Windows 10: I can't start my laptop and it just leads me to with troubleshoot or turn off my laptop

The laptop I have is a Lenovo ideapad 320s I don't really know the probem as to why it does so I hope someone can help

Basically whenever I start my laptop all it does is lead me to with troubleshoot or turn off my laptop I tried to choose troubleshoot but there isn't an option there to continue and just start the laptop so basically the list of options available are

Startup repair-Whenever I start Startup repair it just says it couldn't repair itself

Command prompt-I haven't tried command prompt since I don't know what to do with it

Uninstall update- I've tried to use uninstall latest quality update and feature update but it says 'it ran into a problem'

UEFI firmware setting- I don't know how to use this so I've just left it alone for now

System restore- it goes to an error and says 'to use system restore you must specify which windows installation to restore

System image recovery: it says 'an internal error has occurred the following information might help resolve the error'

STATUS_WAIT_2(0x80070002)

I also don't see the option to reset my laptop and I also can't see any option to launch safe mode as well hope someone can help if my laptop is being saving at least my files I really wouldn't like to repeat all the activities and assignments I've typed for school

Troubleshooting a Laptop

A friend recently dropped off an HP EliteBook 8530p Laptop for me to work on, but it won't power on at all even with the brick plugged into a wall outlet. Even tried it with it only plugged into the brick with the battery removed. I'd really appreciate it if someone with some knowledge with laptops help me troubleshoot it and see if it could be easily fixed or not.

Here is a tip is you cant fix it, make it noticeable that you broke it...step on it *Wink "Oh my gawd, did i step on your lil ol laptop, im terribly sorry" Then she has no choice but to buy a new one.
