Windows 10: I can't switch out of S mode. it keeps saying TRY AGAIN/ the computer is virtually USELESS...

I just bought this laptop, I cannot get it to switch off S mode. No matter how much try it will not go past TRY AGAIN... The computer is virtually a doorstop right now.. I contact "contact us" and support and get ZERO response... This is neck deep **** and yeah after 6 hours of it I'm over it... DOES ANYBODY WORK THERE!?!?!?!?!

Windows 10 Virtual Desktops in Tablet Mode

I realize that you want to keep virtual desktop after switching to tablet mode. I will try to help you with this issue.

Please answer these questions to get more clarity on this issue:

  Did you make any changes to the pc prior to this issue?

  Have you installed all pending updates on the pc?
  

After switching to the tablet mode, click on the “Task View” icon in the Taskbar to check if that helps.

I suggest you to sign out from the current user account, restart the computer and then sign in to the Admin account to check if this helps.

Some problems can be fixed by signing out of your account and then signing back in. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and select Sign out. Once you’ve signed out, sign back in to your account.

Also suggest you to install any pending Windows updates on the pc to check if that helps.
Updates are additions to software that can help prevent or fix problems, improve how your computer works, or enhance your computing experience.

Virtual Switch Manger Unable to Create Default Switch in v1809

After upgrading to v1809 I turned Hyper-V feature Off then On. Since then the Default Switch no longer exists and the Virtual Switch Manager is unable to crate it automatically as it would normally. I can see the Default Switch appear for a few seconds in the Network Adapters, then its gone. This happens several time whenever I launch the Virtual Switch Manager.

I can create other virtual switches.
Once the Virtual Switch Manager lists the Default Switch with a Load Failed message.

I have used netcfg -d command and Turned Hyper-V feature Off/On several times with no success.

Windows 10 Virtual Desktops in Tablet Mode

Is there any way to keep virtual desktops when I switch to tablet mode on my Surface Pro 3? I would love to start using virtual desktops, but since I switch between tablet and normal computer mode often, my virtual desktops disappear and all of the windows
on a second virtual desktop move to the first in tablet mode.
