Windows 10: I cant switch to a local account

Hello,today i wanted to change my pin but it was grayed out. I did some research and found it i had to delete my ngc folder but i was missing that also.someone else said that i could get a new ngc folder by switching to a local accoutn add a pin and switch back. Then i realised my switch button is missing.

Trying to switch from MS account to local account

Mybe you have to set your Windows account password. Not sure at which step are you..

Switch Back to Existing Local Account from Microsoft Account

I already identified that I had tried this, and that it did not allow me to switch back to the original Local Account. The Microsoft Account hijacked the User Name of the original Local Account. When I click "Sign in With a Local Account instead" and enter
the original User Name, Windows 10 won't proceed. The only way to get back to a Local Account is enter a new User Name.

 

Local Account password changed to Online Account Password

I suggest you to follow the steps on how to switch from Microsoft account to Local account:

• Click on search in taskbar and type account.
• Click on Accounts.
• Now, under Your account, click on Sign in with Local account instead.
• Enter your Microsoft account password for confirmation and then follow the screen instruction.
• Enter User name credentials for your the Local account and click OK.
• Now, login to Local account.
