Windows 10: I can't transfer my Windows license from HDD to SSD

I recently upgraded my PC by installing an SSD alongside my existing HDD, and i can't get my windows license from my HDD to my SSD. Here's everything I've done so far: 1. I had windows 10 installed perfectly working and activated on my old HDD drive. It didn't have a Microsoft account on it. 2. I reinstalled windows on the new SSD, and turns out it couldn't find the activation key from my HDD. 3. I reinstalled windows on the HDD, in hopes of getting the license to my SSD. 4. I logged in to my Microsoft account on the HDD install of windows, which was automatically activated. It then assigned

Transfer of licenced OS from HDD to SSD

I have recently purchased an SSD. Originally windows was installed in HDD. Now I want to transfer the OS from HDD to SSD. Will I lose my LICENSED version of windows, if I do this? And it is mentioned in settings that my windows is activated with the help
of digital license key. Where to find that digital license and how to transfer OS from HDD to SSD?

 

Transfering OS from HDD to SSD

I just bought SSD recently and want to make it as my OS, but the problem is my license is OEM.I read out there that cloning your OS from HDD to SSD using a partition wizard or something is easy and can transfer the license as well. In my case i want a
clean installation on my SSD so that there is no junk files there, can i transfer my license from HDD to SSD? i don't have extra money to buy a new license

 

Upgraded Windows Transfer from HDD to SSD

Hi

My windows was upgraded from 8 to 10 on my laptop few years back. I was trying to get the HDD replaced with SSD. During the copy process, the technician said windows cannot be moved to SSD as it is an upgraded version from 8 to 10.

Kindly guide if there is a possibility to copy the windows to SSD ? If so, please suggest the steps.
