Windows 10: I can’t turn off my pc cause the Task host window

i cannot check for new windows updates nothing’s working the local security authority protection is off I don’t know how when i turned on i have to restart my pc but i cant cause the task host who block me I don’t if its a virus

• The PC that I'm using is a Gateway model DX4860 with previous Windows 7 Home Premium.
• I have upgrade to Windows 10 using Windows update settings.
• I have Norton Security Deluxe installed in my PC.
• And finally, all programs were closed before shutting down Windows.

I will execute your initial recommendations and the
diagnostic steps that you suggest me; and I will let you know the status of the "Task Host issue".

task host causing problems?

I recently upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10 by free upgrade and then upgrade it again .....i shifted from windows 7 due to task host problem causing lot of memory consumption and shutting down problems ..now again in windows 10 it appeared during shutdown
and is causing problems like not shutting down ,lagging in running applications,frequent shut downs and memory consumption...............is task host continuing from win 7 or how can i prevent it??
