Windows 10: I can't turn on firewall and that creates a lot of problems

i can't turn on firewall also i can't use the check for updates feature because it says :There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: 0x8007042cAlso when i open the network & internet tab in settings it crashesI also cant access the wifi tab and i have to be connected via ethernet to have access to the internetI cant access the troubleshooters tab either because it says that i have to be connected to the internet to access thatI have done an sfc scan it found s

Mail syncing problems- clashing with firewall?

is appearing with the firewall settings. To turn Windows Firewall on or off:

If the Mail app works correctly after disabling the firewall, then check with the settings. Click on
Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall on the left pane under
Windows Firewall settings page. Then click
Change settings and see whether Mail app is allowed.
If not, try to make changes accordingly.
