Windows 10: I cant type a lowercase "Q" it does not work im only able to hold shift and do uppercase

I cant type "Q" in lowercase I can only type it capital using shift. I checked and I have all updates and i have a wired keyboard and windows 11 please help

How to type lowercase letters in PowerShell

When typing with Caps Lock off, I get lowercase letters without Shift, and uppercase letters with Shift.

When typing with Caps Lock ON, I get uppercase letters without Shift, but PowerShell ignores any letters typed with the Shift key. Any letters typed with Shift do not appear in the PowerShell window, and then in response to the Enter key, PowerShell behaves as if the letters were not typed at all.

Example: At a PowerShell prompt:

Set Caps Lock on, then type C, Shift+M, D. I expect to see

but I actually see

and pressing Enter acts as if I typed the command CD and not CMD.

All other apps behave the correct way (if Caps Lock is ON, typing letters while holding down Shift gives lowercase letters).

Is this a PowerShell bug?

 

Changing lowercase i to uppercase I

When using the default email app, when I type a sentance that uses i within the sentance, the app does not change from lowercase to uppercase. It does correctly work if you start a sentance with lowercase i and it is changed to uppercase, however when i
is part way through a sentance it is not changed.

 

Some combinations holding shift down does not type an uppercase

This is a strange one on windows 10.

This typing issue occurs on both external and internal keyboards on a dell 5400 laptop, and both SHIFT keys (left and right).

We use acronyms often like most organizations.

One of our common acronyms is VBP.

And we use it so much that I type it fast.

If I type it fast while holding SHIFT down, I get VbP. Only the b is lowercase.

I either have to type it slow (with a pause before B) or correct it.

Why?

What can I do to prevent this?
