Windows 10: I can't update my Desktop, download anything/update from the Microsoft store nor even click...

Hi, I'm having an issue where for some reason, I can't update Minecraft and my Desktop PC. Every time I try to update it keeps saying "We couldn't connect to the update service. We'll try again later, or you can check now. If it still doesn't work, make sure you're connected to the Internet".



Every time I click on the network settings, it closes. For some reason. I really can't access it at all. It opens and loads for a good 2-3 seconds and then just closes.


And for some reason, I'm having an issue where I can't update Minecraft Windows 10 Edition. I try downloading games and for some reason, it keeps giving an error as well.


My internet is connected to an ethernet cable so I don't understand what's going on. I've been having this issue for 3-4 months and still not able to solve the issue. I've called and texted Microsoft support countless times and yet, they weren't able to solve the issue!


I'm afraid I'm going to have to bear with this until I get a new Desktop in the future if I can't find a future. Please help me solve this issue!

Vista x64 won't download updates?

The last updates on my home desktop are dated 16th June.
I've powered it on some 3 or 4 times since then, but nothing was downloaded automatically as per settings.

I tried the manual update from the CP but I get an error code 80070002.

I did the troubleshooting suggested (i.e. stop the Windows Update service, delete the temporary update files, restart the Windows Update service, and then try to check for Windows updates again) but I still keep getting the same error code, even after rebooting *Confused

What gives?

 

Microsoft Store failing to update or download

I'm having trouble with Microsoft Store. When I'm trying to update my apps, I get a failed error (0x80070015) and no update. I've come across the following article (Windows store error code 0x80070015) which seems to do no good. Short of re-installing Windows, does anyone have any experience or suggestions to remedy this problem?

This is on Windows 10 1803
