    I can't update my Windows because of the error 0x80070005


    I haven't updated my Windows since September 2020. I tried using the troubleshooter for Window's update but the error 0x80070005 keeps coming up. I have a stable internet connection too and I'm using the admin user. How do I fix this?

    I suggest you to try Windows Update troubleshooter and check if that helps.Here is the steps:


    • Click on Start button and type
      Troubleshoot and select Troubleshooting.

    • Under System and Security, click on
      Fix problems with Windows Updates.

    • Follow the onscreen instructions.
