Windows 10: I can't update Windows 10

Hi, I'm Ani. I have a intel inside core i3 laptop which doesn't have any new hardware or anything and I've been trying to update the windows for months. It doesn't say I have hardware issues or anything but it says I have no internet connection so it won't update, and when I try to download an app from the Microsoft Store it won't download because it keeps saying I have no internet. This confuses me because I can browse Chrome/Google easily with full bar internet, I can also update games and everything with no issues so I'm very confused why it's saying I have no internet. Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
