Windows 10: I can't use my Xbox controller in Windows 10

I just bought a new Xbox Carbon Black controller today because I wanted to play some games on my PC (the box says it's for Xbox Series S|X and Windows 10), but I follow the instructions that came on the xbox controllers box (Turn on bluetooth on my pc, go to settings, press the sync button 3 secs on the controller, ...)

And it connects wirelessly and appears like "Xbox Wireles Controller 4416" on the device manager, but when I open a game it doesn't recognize it, and if I open the Steam controller configuration, it detects most buttons but not the triggers.

I tried reinstalling my bluetooth drivers and the xbox controller drivers but nothing seems to work, I downloaded Xbox Accesories app on the Microsoft store and it doesn't recognize the controller either when connected wireless.

But, when I connect the controller via USB cable, it works perfectly, the Xbox Accesories app updated the firmware and I can use the controller with no problems on my games, but when I try to use it without the cable and connect via Bluetooth it just doesn't do anything.

I have a ps4 controller which works great connected wireless, so I don't thing it could be my bluetooth adapter as I can also connect my bluetooth headset with no problems.

I have updated the Xbox controller firmware, my bluetooth driver, and Windows 10 to the lastest version (20H2). Any idea on how to make it work wireless?

Can’t connect Xbox one controller to pc
