Windows 10: I can't use the commands "ipconfig /release" or "ipconfig /renew".

When I try to perform the commands "ipconfig /release" and "ipconfig /renew", I am met with the error message "No operation can be performed on __________ while it has its media disconnected." 5 error messages show up, each with a different words filling the blank, these include "Ethernet", "Local Area Connection* 7", "Local Area Connection* 9", "Wi-Fi", and "Bluetooth Network Connection". Cannot ipconfig /renew

Whenever I try to ipconfig /renew (after ipconfig /release), it takes a long time and then it says that "An error occurred while renewing interface Npcap Loopback Adapter: unable to contact your DHCP server. Request has been timed out" Any suggestions
on how to fix this?

My Dell Laptop is running Windows 10. Each time that I sign in, I must release and renew the ipconfig in Command Prompt to access the internet. How can this annoying problem be fixed?

 

What should I run first? ipconfig /flushdns, ipconfig /registerdns, ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew or netsh winsock reset? What should be in order? What should be in the order of maintenance?

The correct order to run these commands would be, I included each meaning in parentheses:

ipconfig /release (this will release your current IP)

ipconfig /flushdns (clears the DNS cache)

ipconfig /renew (obtain a new IP)

ipconfig /registerdns (register the new IP in DNS)

netsh winsock reset (reset the Winsock catalog to its default)
