Windows 10: I changed my security info and I cannot cancel it

Discus and support I changed my security info and I cannot cancel it in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I changed it because I lost my old phone number, and now I cannot cancel it or log into my pc for 30 days because I had to change my PIN as it wasn't...     I changed my security info and I cannot cancel it


    I changed it because I lost my old phone number, and now I cannot cancel it or log into my pc for 30 days because I had to change my PIN as it wasn't registering

    Hacked: Change security info

    I followed the steps and thats how I managed to reset the password on him/her, but when I go to account setting to remove their email it says:

    "You can't access this site right now

    This site requires a security code to sign in. When your security info updates on 1/3/2019 you will be able to access this site. You can still access sites such as Outlook and Skype that don't require a security code.

    On 12/4/2018 you requested that your security info be replaced.

    Current security info

    Alternate email: *** Email address is removed for privacy *** "

    That alternate email is also the hackers, so I cannot cancel the security change. When I try, it asks to send an email code to it.

    Thanks a ton btw for the quick reply, I'm worrying my butt off every moment haha.

    Cancel Security Info request without mobile number

    Hi, I need to cancel my security info change request but do not have access to my mobile number registered on my account. Any advice?

    Can't cancel my request to change security info

    Hello Iulia D,

    Good to see you again in Microsoft Community.

    You received this message because ALL the security info (such as alternate contact methods) that you previously added to your account was removed and replaced with new info and you need to wait 30-days for the changes to take effect. You can't expedite the 30-day process unless you cancel the request.

    Visit “Your security info change is still pending” or “You can’t access this site right now” Microsoft account message for more details.

    If anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to let me know.
