Windows 10: I changed the location of "Document" from C:\Users\user to D:\ and can't undo it

My C: is running low on storage so I'm trying to relocate some of the files to my D: drive which is still empty. Firstly i moved my "Document" from C:\Users\user to D: Drive, but it then appears that now the entire D: Drive is the new "Documents" folder. I tried to undo it by using "restore default" in the properties - location, but always get this error "Failed to build the list of regular subdirectories under "G:\System Volume Information". Access is denied."I have tried to reboot my laptop into safe mode but the same problem still exist. I also notice that the user folder there used

Change properties location of C:\users\username\ to D:\

What happens if I go into the C:\users\username\ folder properties and change the location of the folder to D:\? I have already changed the location of most (all?) the C:\users\username\ subfolders to D:\, but Win11 keeps adding subfolders back to the C:\users\username folder. I'd like, once and for all, to move all the C:\users\username subfolders to D:\. Is that possible/feasible?

Did D:\ instead of D:\Documents for C:\Users\DELL\Documents while changing location

While changing the location, I Did D:\ instead of D:\Documents for C:\Users\DELL\Documents.
Now, i am not able to make to D:\Documents, it shows as below





Please help me. What can i do?

No tried that.

Can copy the entire folder to D; but Windows still points to C as the location. Can change personal folders location to a folder on D;, but this still leaves hidden files etc on C;. Thus meaning there are 2 Users folders. Have managed to change the Public folder location to D;, with some registry tweaks, but this doesnt seem to work for the entire folder.

any more suggestions
