Windows 10: I check a lot on internet and I can´t change the resolution of my new monitor

Hi,I need some help to put the correct resolution in my monitor:Equipements:Monitor: LG 29WL500-B HDR WFHD - Model # 29WL500-B has a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1080Graphic Card: AMD RADEON PRO WX 3100Connect by HDMI in monitor but transform of MiniPort-DP - HDMI to Graphic Card.I already try with the program of AMD RADEON PRO and I already try going to display advance setting, Could someone help you with this?Best Regards, Ryan Alves

Since I sent you the last message I restarted my computer and lo and behold the problem is resolved. The screen is perfect. I am not sure what I did but whatever it was worked.

What exactly happens when you try to change the screen resolution? Do you get any error message?



The recommended resolution on windows 10 is 1920 x 1080. Change the resolution to 1920 x 1080 and check.

The reason why your display was stretched sideways is because the resolution was in-corrected.



Here are the steps to change the screen resolution:

• Right Click the Desktop and select
  Screen Resolution.
• Click the Make text and other items larger or smaller link.
• In the Change only the text size section click the
  drop down menu to select the items you want to change.
