clean boot my computer went wrong

    Hi Hannah,

It is possible that clean boot might have disabled this functions that you are pertaining to as clean boot only allows service that are needed by a computer to startup. Usually, just restart the computer and you should be on normal mode.

If you are already on the normal desktop environment, and is still experiencing these misbehavior. suggest that you perform the following methods:

    Method 1: Troubleshooter

Microsoft offers diagnostic tools called Microsoft Fix It, and you only have to download and run them. Basing from your post, here are the easy fixes that you should run:

Also, you may run the troubleshooter manually by following these steps:

    • Go to Control Panel, on the Search Control Panel bar located on the upper-right corner of
the Control Panel window, type Troubleshooting.
    • Click Troubleshooting on the results pane.
    • On the left pane, click View all.
    • Look for Hardware and Devices, right-click, and have it Run as administrator.
    • Follow the onscreen instructions.
    • Repeat the steps and then run troubleshooter for both Playing audio
      and System Maintenance.

    Method 2: SFC

Please run the System File Checker tool as well to be able to detect and fix concerns with your entire system files. You may refer to this article: Use
the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files
    .

Hope this helps. If you have any other concerns, don't hesitate to come back to us.

    Method 1

Disconnect all the external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) drives, etc...) Except mouse and the keyboard and then check.

    Method 2

I suggest you to run in-built Power troubleshooter and check. Follow the steps:

    • Click on Control Panel.
    • Select Troubleshooting on the left pane, click on
      View All.
    • Click on Power to run the troubleshooter.

If the above method doesn’t help, I suggest you to reset and restore all of the default Power Plans back to their default settings. Follow the steps:

    • Press Windows Key + X.
    • Select Command Prompt (Admin).
    • At the command prompt, type powercfg -restoredefaultschemes, and then press
